I have always been an artist... ever since I could hold a crayon. I started drawing at 3 and never stopped. As I grew up, I became interested in learning everything I could about all things artsy, and I became inspired by the world around me. I took this love of creativity and channeled it into learning new skills. Eventually, I learned to sew, paint, make jewelry, scrapbook, crochet (which I didn't learn until I was an adult), and many other things. I sold my first commissioned painting at the age of 16. Right then and there, I knew I wanted to be an artist.

Then as a young adult, I wandered a lot, lived many places, held many jobs, but I always did art no matter where my journey took me. Eventually, I started college to get a degree, and I wandered through many degrees as well. First I wanted to be in marketing and design, then interior design, then fashion, then I wanted to be an English teacher. Eventually I decided on art.

During my 20's, I had my art in many shows and sold a handful of pieces. I thought art shows were the only way to share my art with others. Then in 2011, I ran into someone at a gallery show who asked me if I was on Etsy. --- HUH? What's that?--- We had a conversation and I was excited by the idea of an artsy community of handmade items. So I started a shop and here I am.

Since then, I finished my B.A. (2015) in painting and drawing. I have been doing a lot of in-person craft fairs which have been a fun way to meet people and other artists. Who knows where my wandering will take me, but I am always excited for the next new artsy thing. I love the journey of learning and creating new things and am excited for the years to come!
